Losing fat and getting in shape is no easy task. It becomes doubly difficult when you go about it the wrong way. So, what are the facts and fiction when it comes to losing fat and building a lean body?

Do Not Skip Meals:

Many people mistakenly believe that skipping meals can make them lose fat. In fact the opposite is true. When a meal is skipped the body’s metabolic rate slows down. A slow metabolism burns less fat. Eat a minimum of 3 meals a day and if you are the busy type, you may add a couple of healthy salads in between the meals instead of high fat snacks such as burgers and pizzas. Eat Lot of Vegetables. Green vegetables are rich in minerals and vitamins and low on fat. You can also take plenty of Black beans, Broccoli and Cauliflower which help in weight loss. You may more proteins by way of scrambled eggs or natural soy proteins.

Proper Exercise Regimen:

Have balanced program of cardio and strength training exercises. The program should not be for more than an hour at best. Please remember not to strain yourself. Start small and build up to an hour for 3 to 4 times a week. Adequate rest helps body recoup and build your muscle groups and fast fat reduction. There Are No Quick Fixes. All that belly and body fat did not get built up overnight. And they aren’t going to vanish overnight.

Do not believe in all that you read:

Verify the facts on the weight loss program and authority the trainer before buying or joining the program. There are too many fat loss experts with too little results.

These are some of the basics of weight loss. Don’t get caught with all the hype and miracle fat loss therapies. Keep your motivation high and work on your weight loss methodically and results are assured in 6 to 8 weeks. And don’t get frustrated and give up if you do not get quick results. Be confidant that you will achieve the desired fat loss results with persistence and perseverance.
